The goodness of that Gen was spread too thin. 3 viable or near viable consoles plus PC. PS2 had basically no multiplayer. Shitcube at least had melee. PC had true exclusives. and i dont rate pc at all in that era. like 10% of 'good' console games were ever ported to PC, and PC had like 1 good native release per year. it was AOE2, red alert 2 and maybe some MMO. |
