almost everything worth reading is going to be in a book. books are actually thought out, revised, and rewritten so to try to get the point across persuasively. books also arent screens. you can do a deep dive on a topic in a book and then be done with it for a while if you want or pick up a 100 other books on the topic.
what is the point of a blog behind a paywall. blogs suck. theyre rambling thoughts. even the good ones are mostly just commentary on actual ideas contained in books. why not just read the book.
even (what i assume are) the good ones like Matt taibbi's blog, why not just read a matt taibi book. do you need so much matt taibbi that you need to read his thoughts on current events every week. this makes no sense.
and you pay the substack writer like 10 dollars a month. lol. you can buy any book used for like $10.
