Date: July 7th, 2025 4:01 AM Author: Heady Opaque Kitchen Ceo I agree with him it’s impossible not to look at the stuff you use o3 to do and be like this is exactly what I would give a junior level employee. Except o3 does it better and doesn’t cost much. Junior level market already seems to be impacted at companies at least. For a while everyone was hiring a bunch of junior level inhouse, rarely see any postings anymore. I imagine firms will take longer both because of hourly incentives and risk aversion to using it.
The open question is whether it’s going to get good enough to substitute for real judgment. Most of real judgment is probably just context. Answer seems like it will be yes, just depends when it will have enough access to all context. That seems a longer way off and where the law may also impede it. |
