I used a 10 year old wireless router. Should I change?

When I purchased it, it was just me with a laptop computer.

Now it is me, wife, and three kids. We have firestick, two smartphones, 1 tablet, and 2 laptops. So I should get something newer, right?

I have a 1980s Craftsman that works fine as long as its cleaned regularly. 10 years is not 'old' for a router.

Depends how fast your internet is. If you have the general cable speeds of 200/400 or something it won't matter.

But a lot of major metros now have gigabit cable and you'd need newer router to take advantage of getting your poast online .07 seconds faster.
