I slow cooked it in a a thick sauce, but as it all cooked the breast halves all shrank down to shriveled little things and the sauce is no longer thick. The sauce may need some corn starch or something, but I don't like using that.

Made me realize that like 35% of a chicken breast from the store is just water.

this is very true. why do you think there's so much water in there? i'm really asking. does it have to do with all the antibiotics and microplastics? were these organic chicken breasts or globohomo tyson's radioactive dogfood grade homo?

i believe you are not allowed to plump organic chickens. they are pretty strict on additives to get that green sticker.

Boil the extra water off. Sucks, but that always needs to be done with slow cooked shredded poultry/meat

Yes, this is what I ended up doing. Also, I will change this recipe. It was good at first, but kind of gross after a minute. I know what needs to change.
