if you are driving an audi or an acura or a lexus or even most bmws you might as well just get a honda. everything is basically the same, the "better" brands don't look any sexier.

BMW feels different just from being RWD. And a lot of Cars don’t offer AWD but the luxury ones do.
Also if you pay attention, Far Eastern cars are constantly Vibrating, at least the non luxury ones.

BMW makes some small sports enthusiast cars. C class Mercedes is a striver mobile. E class is the sweet spot for them. Lexus is just a fancy Toyota.
There are still many places you will be judged for driving a Hyundai or a Nissan or an American compact, so a 3 series is probably the lowest cost new car ticket to respectability, but a Lexus will make the best impression. Practical luxury, not car guy fancy.
These days a lot of men only want a Truck or SUV
