Had no idea what I was doing, never practiced this area of law, spent 4 hours using a combo of Gemini and GPT to review the situation and strategize, and a newer legal drafting AI to draft the notice, brief and my declaration.

The longest part was cite checking with Lexis at the end (confirming every case existed).

You should have included Claude Pro as the final fact-checker - it catches nuances that ChatGPT Plus and shitty Gemini Advance miss.

You're pro se? Depending on what you were asking for you could have written in crayon and there's a good chance it would have been granted.

nm i read that as 'i never practiced law'

did you at least cite check

Cite checking is a key step that many miss. I asked AI a regulatory question, and it came back citing advisory opinions and guidance that simply does not exist.

I had GPT pro and Gemini separately review all the local rules for this district, courthouse and judge/dept (copied and pasted everything into one prompt), plus the docket and lit file, then combined their responses and asked GPT pro to merge and synthesize the whole thing into numbered steps to file my ex parte

It told me how to give proper ex parte notice to OC, format and upload each doc on Pacer, how to send proposed order to chamber, and drafted LR certifications to add at end of memo
