Extremely grateful I usually fall asleep within 5 mins of laying down when I hear so many people talk about sleep problems lately

I fall asleep very easily but when I wake up I am awake for good, no matter when that is. This can be 3 am unfortunately.

Definitely a recent issue (past 2 or 3 years). I'm unsure what brought it on

My sister started having problems after she turned 40. Hoping I didn’t inherit those genes.

2 people can have the exact same sleep patterns. The neurotic person will insist they have a terrible time sleeping and it's torturous. The chill person will think they sleep fine and enjoy the process.

sleep like a baby in the winter. in the summer not so much. i have to be very disciplined and not eat anything several hours before bedtime. cranking the ac can help a little but not as much as youd think. the humidity is killer.
