Realistically how many Gens will it take Indians to assimilate?

Date: March 7th, 2026 2:40 PM Author: passionate dilemma Not a big expert on India and their different races and castes etc. But it feels like the 90s Indians were less in your face and made some effort to fit in, and their kids would be like Nikki Haley's son. Maybe there were just less of them.
but the modern wave of computer indians are in your face jeety and doing all their jeet scam stuff cranked to the max and dancing on WW2 graves and clogging up Costco and there are enough of them that i feel like it could take 500 years until they start dressing normally and giving their kids normal names and drinking beer and BBQing etc |

Date: March 7th, 2026 2:55 PM Author: passionate dilemma Only know about west coast japs but many of them came to work in agriculture and pretty quickly bought their own farmland, orchards, etc, in the PNW by the 3rd gen they mostly intermarried and were solid conservatives and integrated into the community, spoke english, kids did sport etc.
I think the internment in ww2 was good for them. Humbling
