but what's really going on is that millennials were desperate for authenticity after boomers suburbanized and franchised the country (after enjoying their own authentic youth of course). stomp clap metal stools etc. were designed to provide millennials with a safe facsimile of authenticity, and perhaps they enjoyed the gilded cage for a bit but of course they came to resent it |
