Our politicians are far less accountable for their wrongdoings. Racially, yes, we'll have a comparatively more equal world. Economically we will have an abysmally unjust one. We don't live in a capitalistic system but a corporatist one. Money is pooling together and together at the top, competition is being shut out by bigger players, and the government is not only enabling but actively ensuring this happens.

I understand why nonwhites have hopes for the future, and why globalization is viewed by many as a bright path to the future. Colonialism, racism, etc. are actual problems and have held people back for years and it's abysmal and shitty.
