The crux of the issue is people who think America is the melting pot, a country of immigrants! That it's somehow unique in that it can't preserve the racial and cultural majority of its founders, and anyone who advocates for that is a racist white nationalist.
Elon is on Twitter, seemingly without awareness or care, saying "DEI is bad and being anti immigration is bad. Everything should be meritocratic!"
It's such a globalist thing to say. It's like it never crossed his mind that a country should favor its own citizens. That and borders is like the sine qua non of being a country. Elon keeps saying it's about winning, but winning to him or other billionaires looks very different than winning for real Americans.
