SEOUL - In a positive turn of events, all 179 allegedly dead in the Korean manufactured Jeju Air plane carrying 181 people have been revived.

The reason? Japanese made Phoenix Downs that were diligently retrofitted into Korean made black boxes.

The news has sparked multiple protests in Seoul's Gangnam and Jongno Districts. Protesters are furious that the recently reanimated consented to using Japanese made resurrection products, even though no such analogue technology exists on the Korean Peninsula.

"It is disturbing that Japanese made products were used to resurrect my mother. We should be using Korean methods and Korean technology. I don't think there is anything wrong with (it)." said Seo-Jun Hwang.

What protesters like Seo-Jun are referring to is the traditional Korean folk method of resurrection. On August 6, 1997, Korean Air Flight 801 crashed in Guam, killing 229 on board. Koreans flew in from all over the world carrying earthenware pots and pans. They would find their loved ones corpse and shatter these objects on the body. Though so far, to this date, no resurrections using Korean earthenware have ever been recorded.
