This feels like it may be checkmate if Iran doesn't come up with some effective counter-strategy. Not only do they lose a huge amount of income, Trump's probably going to put it in our strategic oil reserve or something like that. They aren't going to be able to deal with that indefinitely.
And Iran's crying about it rings pretty hollow when their whole "close the Strait of Hormuz" scheme is based on the notion of "might makes right."
So what is Iran's best move here?
