RSF what level (A1, A2, B1, etc) is your French comprehension & speaking?

He has never once mentioned a cornerstone of French culture or talked about the food or wine. He's never gone to see Chambord or Chenonceau. And it seems like even when he is in St. Tropez he is speaking English the entire time. He has never once talked about eating raclette or some other common French tradition. He's never quoted Le Petit Prince or any classic. It's actually eerie how little French culture he has ever mentioned.
Here are some French things he has talked about: - He likes Marine Le Pen. Although that's as much as he has ever said about it.
- He supports the French national football team. Again fairly vague.
That is the extent imo of his French experience that he has ever poasted about. Also in the last ten years I have responded to him at least a dozen times with clips and videos in French and he has never once responded to one of them. Not even a "haha, so true." |

He also has never typed out even one word of French. He has never even used a French loanword. It's very sus. He's never even said apropos of nothing. He has never once shown that he can read or write a basic sentence. The evidence against him is towering. Also when pressed to prove it he said a single word in a voice note. He thought one word would end the debate. I'm pretty sure he knows less than a hundred French words but probably closer to 20. I think it's that low. |

But I think it's worth pointing out that I think he is fully legit French b/c his father is fully legit French. His father's name is classic Eastern France Alsace-Lorraine: first name "Michel", as French as a frog surrendering while wearing a beret, plus a German-language surname of the type that most non-Arab people in that formerly-German part of France have, which together gives a name that in Alsace-French means "Michael Carpenter". It's so Alsace-French (Protestant, not Jewish) that I think it's exceedingly unlikely that anyone NOT from a Protestant Alsace-French background would have that name. If that's right, then he is completely, legitimately "pure laine" French. I neither know nor particularly care how good his French is. |

I knew a woman let's call her for arguments sake Juliette Schaeffer. OK there's a million of these people. So what? No one has ever disputed that his dad is a real life French person.
What's embarrassing is that RSF is a French citizen who lives in France and doesn't speak the language. Just think how lame that is. Imagine being a German citizen who LIVES in Germany and doesn't speak German. That would be insane right? |
