Boomers' parents didn't babysit. Why do Millennials feel ENTITLED to have grandparents be babysitters?

Boomers raised millennials to be dependent and entitled pieces of shit. It's "reap what you sow" to perfection

Boomers are the worst generation of all time. That's hardly debatable. But it doesn't change anything I said--which was hardly a defense of boomers

boomers didnt need parental help. they could live nicely as SAHMs on a single income salary for an average white man.

boomers should help their kids have grandkids. it's the least they can do for fucking over the next generation and rewarding their kids for giving them a legacy

Which is fading as goy generational attitudes return to traditionalism, hence the title of the thread perplexed by it coming from a Jew since it's unlikely any 18 and out boomers are poasters aside from OldHLSDude

millennials are fundamentally children. when things are tough, they feel entitled to have someone more mature and capable step in (i.e., a "real adult")

This, and it's this literally because of their parents. So it's a perfect outcome in that sense

during boomer generation society didn't judge people for letting your kids do whateverthefuck.

now you're expected to have eyes on kids 24/7 and if you don't spend every waking hour of free time parenting you're a failure

this is true. the level to which it is now basically 'illegal' to leave your kids unattended is shocking.

if you allow your kids to ride their bikes to the park alone, the police are liable to pick them up and bring them to your house in a squad car and arrest you for child abandonment or something.

?

I was regular dropped off at grandparents house while boomer parents went on “cruises” and stuff

I guess it was more common for poasters grandparents to come from India for 3 months

Neither my wife nor I expect it but my MIL helps out a bunch. It's nice. But she's in and out of town so it's not constant. That forces us to be self sufficient. I haven't seen any of my millennial friends expect their parents to babysit.
