Was thinking glycine combat sub, or a seiko diver, and honestly the Casio duro is pretty nice for $47. Much better than the $30 timex I bought a few years ago for this purpose (and also to troll my uber watch collecting friend) which ticks so loudly it is intolerable to have it anywhere near you at night. I bought a couple Casio digital but they are annoying so set and use and see. Something more formal like the tsusoya would be fine too. Simple is my preference.
