could be ok after you get some rugs and books and decoration in.
most ergonomic advice says not to put a monitor in front of a window as the contrast between natural light and the monitor is too great and causes eye strain. in germany, you're not allowed to set up an office that way

I assume all the books are in your library?
This style of study is what I personally like, although I'd want higher/full bookshelves instead of the cabinets below.
Basically, I'd want to live/work in the Fitzwilliam library.
Edit: That tiny pink desk really needs to be replaced by a large rolltop with hutch.
