GG was not the real start of SJWs taking over popular culture (I would argue the current wave started with Atheism+). But GG was the first real flareup where a mass of people resisted incursion of SJWs into a subculture en masse. And we gamers got shit on all the time, called neckbeards, etc., and told that our concerns are not warranted, and that SJWs are a fringe movement.
So here we are. Football is SJW hell. Other sports are SJW hell. Movies are SJW hell. Music is SJW hell. Books are SJW hell. Politics are SJW hell. Shit, magic the gathering and Warhammer are SJW hell. Everywhere you look, SJWs have laid everything to waste. This latest flareup with SJWs taking over the knitting community should really hammer the point home:
SJWs are a malignant cancer that must be excised from every institution. They cannot be allowed to dominate culture like this. |
