I love X for some stuff but no, no it doesn’t. The Pro version of GPT is a lot more polished for serious research. Plus I would never put confidential info into X. It’s defensible internally to do so with GPT.

Can u explain how youre defining "confidential info" and "defensible internally"?
My primary concern at this point is somehow getting pwned by uploading shit for analysis that i shouldnt have. Not even sure how that would happen. But i am of course also concerned with the ethics.
What foes gpt's terms of service say about further disclosure? And what is gpt's known practice regarding further disclosure?

Dude, most shit at companies is on a cloud data center. Do you know how tech works? Why would GPT be any less secure? In a paid version they agree not to use it for training and won’t disclose.

yeah if your company has a specific company banning it then you need to be a lot more careful. it's not mentioned at all then there is really no risk compared to anything else.

That's the $200 / month one, right?

Seriously? My Google AI premium one that includes a ton of Google storage and other premium benefits is like $20/month or something.

Gemini premium lets you create Gems where you can upload up to 10 docs, tell it to assume that it is a lawyer or whatever and it will respond based on all of those docs + internal knowledge.

Gemini is more user friendly but that's generally correct.

I pay for the version that’s like $20 a month and you can do 10 deep searches per month which is fine. I gave a biglaw firm a research assignment and gave the same assignment to gpt deep research (o3-mini-high) and chat GPT did a better job.

i did it because i ran out of deep research uses for the month on plus using it for stupid shit and i now rely on it as a crutch to help me outline my briefs before i start drafting and i had a really annoying one to do.
i'm gonna drop back down to plus because 200 a month for pro is too much vs. 20 for plus since they feature set is mostly the same just with different rate limits.
