Date: January 8th, 2025 1:37 PM Author: Ass Sunstein Most of the fires are in uninhabited mountains/hills, but there are some populated areas that are part of the City of LA (or city of Pasadena, etc) that are right next to these hills or extend into the hills, so these houses can get burned up. The population affected (as in actually having their houses burn down) is a tiny part of the overall city, on the edges basically, but these are richmos with $5M+ houses.
Most of LA looks like this, it wouldn't be possible for a fire to spread through the city proper:
