There is probably an order of magnitude between the max amount I'd be willing to bet at a time and the min amount that would make me excited to win--say, a couple hundred bucks vs. a couple thousand. And the house always wins if you don't have an angle.
And yet the amount of suburban millenial dads doing it regularly is astounding and concerning. When I get together with my friends on, say, a random Wednesday, a big portion of the guys will be comparing which bets and parlays they have going on MACtion--plus other, random sports they're not even watching--while placing other bets on their phones. |
