The biggest rock records then were Linkin Park (who absorbed the majority of LB fans) and the early 00s hipster stuff like White Stripes and the Strokes. Seven Nation Army literally became like a folk music level riff that is sung by fans at sporting events a capella to this day and LB was completely dismissed and forgotten for 20+ years now. But in 2003 Sublime and 311 were still suitable drinking music for kids trying to get laid **because girls didn’t hate it***. Strokes were popular for like a year and weren't really a jock band.
