Whoa, hey is that California State Representative Scott Wiener (D) -- a self-described "Liberal Homosexual Zionist" Jewish-American politician who, among other things, infamously introduced a state legislative bill (SB-145) back in 2019 to modify the CA penal code so that criminals convicted of sexual offenses involving minors could apply for discretionary judicial relief from having to register as sex offenders just as long as they weren't more than 10 years older than their victims?
(IIRC, that bill subsequently passed and was signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsome, haha.) |
