Can’t think of many things more “California” than In n Out.

Now we just need The Beach Boys to issue a statement that they were actually singing about Florida to cement Newscum’s legacy. Total pathetic failure.

Everything but tech, Hollywood, and agriculture will go. Unfortunately, there is still enough growth in those industries to keep the state in the black indefinitely. The inequality will get substantially worse and it already is the worst in the nation or on par with New York.
Here's the thing though, it's a high/low coalition. So they have uber richmos making record profits, and then the bottom 50% have incredible handouts and entitlements. So all the destitute beaners are getting 100% free healthcare. And everyone in the top 10% is a brainwashed Acolyte for the left already. And not to mention a shitload of boomers deeply invested in NIMBY to let their home values up forever.
The people who are against the system are new people paying into the scam. Millennials who got fucked on housing, small businesses owners, people who move to LA to get famous, and rural people who have more in common with Alabama than San Francisco. It's this middle group that has been leaving for 25 years. And because so much flight has already occurred there's no population left to tilt back in the polls. The ship has already sailed. It can't be fixed.
So the only cons that remain are ones with legacy businesses or family ties. Or like Steve Sailer they inherited a bunch of primo property. If your parents gift you million dollar property you basically can never leave.
So anyways the choice is conform or die. If you have cslg racket you stay and make due. If you're as big as In N Out you can cut bait. But most people in the system like the system. Tech people like making insane money, spics like handouts. Everyone is happy unless you're middle class and white then you should gtfo yesterday like your peers.

thanks. that all makes sense to me. those 3 industries are big and I bet tourism/hospitality is pretty decent in california also. maybe shipping/physical goods/logistics from asia too.
i didn't know that about steve s - interesting.
the funny thing is that when the california people move to austin or raleigh durham or nashville or boise or whatever, they probably push the new area more lib/california like. it's just crazy how much a state budget can cost if the goal is entitlements.
