I love caffeine. I used to drink 2-3 coffees a day. But recently things changed. The coffee I've been drinking is so good (and so strong) that my body started reacting with palpitations and anxiety. I tried slowing down, taking breaks, skipping a day, then just having 2 shots the next. But even that wasn't enough. I get headaches and my heart is just beating way faster even after 24 hours without having had any coffee.
Now I'm afraid I'll only be able to drink coffee once or twice a week at most, and only a single shot. Coffee has always been my biggest pleasure in life, and it feels like God is spitting in my face with this new development.
Anyone else dealing with this issue? I know quite a few people who gave up coffee for one reason or another, but srsly, I was not planning on being one of them, ever.

Just switch to decaf. I did this years ago and other than looking like an absolute pussy when ordering coffee it’s vastly superior.
It has a small amount of caffeine so once u adapt u still get a little stim increase but its not a ton which upsets ur stomach, makes u jittery, etc etc.

It means your liver is starting to lose its functionality, not flame.
How old are you? It’s normal around age 65.
