Also, ~70% of chicago is an uninhabitable wasteland. Much lower % in Denver. So if you look at places anyone on XO would consider, that also moves Chicago #s higher. |

In Chicago, there are dozens of single family homes available for under $100k. So the bottom 1/2 or so of the city is really bringing it down. The worst neighborhoods in Denver are just not nearly as bad. |
