and that's it. you can more or less derive a reasonable estimate of an area's murder rate based on those factors. |

people don't like to accept this fact, but it's just objectively true. the absolute most violent cities in the US (st. louis, memphis, detroit, birmingham, baltimore, etc.) are all characterized by large black populations with easy access to guns. that's how it works. it even works that way internationally, like in the caribbean.
boston and NYC have gun-related prosecutions and interdiction missions. a city like philly (for example) generally does not, and you can see the differences. |
