seems pretty clear these mandami people have little goodwill towards white america and yet this outcome also seems inevitable from the NYC elite's mistreatment of the city's necessary working poor
what's neat about NYC is they actually have the cash cushion necessary to try something novel regarding the welfare of "the help" but who knows what's actually going to come of it. they're a little light on theory and experience and i don't think exuberance and popular appeal are going to really be able to solve what's wrong with the economic body of the city. who's to say? it could be a pleasant surprise, or an utter 70s styled cyclical disaster
he will probably win, things will continue to be as shitty as they have been, he will be declared a disaster a month in just by association, and in four years he'll be replaced by a moderate running on a "clean up the city" platform. pretty cool that we live in a democracy where nothing gets done for years because the "cycle" needs to pass even though we all know where this is going. god bless "self-government."
