XO, am I the asshole? (story time)

It's awkward because they met through me and we all used to hang out together all the time. Pretty scummy.
The main reason we broke up is that she wanted to travelshrew and thingdo constantly and that wasn't my thing. I just wasn't into that lifestyle and she was unhappy dating a guy who didn't want to do what she wanted to do.
My cousin swooped in after I left. I saw on social media they just got back from an elaborate overseas trip. I know that was the exact kind of thing she would have wanted me to do for her. I could have been that type of guy but I'm just not like that and I have other interests. We were never aligned on lifestyle and goals. We had no future.
The thing about my cousin is that he basically has no inherent capability to meet women on his own. Before he was dating my ex he had a longterm crush on his best friend's sister, who went on to date one of his other close friends and my cousin was extremely bitter and jealous about this for many years. This guy just sits around coveting other dude's girlfriends until something opens up. This is pretty sick, right?
And here's the other thing that bothers me about him. He runs a fake business which his parents bought him that loses money every year. His friend started a business and didn't want to run it anymore. So my cousin's parents just bought it for him. The business loses money every year and his parents just give him more money to run it. He pays himself a salary out of a failing business. To compound the irony, my cousin's parents, my aunt and uncle, in true boomer fashion live way above their means not from their own sweat and toil but because they inherited a ton of money from their parents.
In other words my cousin is second generation hand me down fun money running a fake business that to my knowledge has never been profitable. He is flying around the world with my materialistic travelshrew ex who I used to do in the butt for 4 years paying with essentially his grandparents hand me down equity after he couldn't find a gf of his own and sat around for decades pining after his friends girlfriends. Literally a moans of my future wife situation where he had to endure listening to me plow her for ages through the wall when we all lived together.
I'm not saying I'm a saint here but am I the asshole? |

I am jealous because my ex has enormous natural beasts and is really good at sex. Dare I say, she had perfect tits. Porn star level cans. She is very submissive in the bedroom and will do anything. Things I don't miss: she was incredibly boring and dull at conversation. Bordering on mind numbing. She was a Disney Adult. I basically couldn't relate to her at all. Her stories sucked, her friends were trashy and prole. I don't think I was ever fully in love.
Overall the situation though was pretty good until I had to put more effort into the relationship to keep her happy at which point dating her became a massive chore and was exhausting. Keeping up with all her prole travel shit was annoying as fuck and I hated it. I was miserable towards the end. She also ruined her body with really terrible, disgusting tattoos after we broke up. She was resentful that I didn't like tats so after we broke up she went crazy with the tats that look horrible.
I don't really think about her anymore but I get enraged when I think about my cousin who I now hate although to be fair I kind of began hating him long before this but now it's worse. |

The two of them didn't last too long afterward. I never saw this chick again after the night at the bars. My friend met another women, married her, I attended their wedding.
The only permutation of things that wouldn't have ended up with my friend quite hurt in the short term is if I rejected her invite and kept quiet about it. But that just prolongs things, she very likely would have just strung him along until she found the next better guy. |
