Date: December 28th, 2024 3:00 AM Author: ataraxic to my understanding yarvin calls for / assumes a completely fluid populous that's more or less free to emigrate at will to whatever country will have them, in the spirit of fostering competition among governments. this is the perfect political infrastructure to incentivize the creation hyperstriver nations constructed to attract the highest iq people at the expense of the legacy population, to the benefit of the "state" and the ruler and particular beneficiaries but not necessarily all of its people at a given point in time. in theory it's interesting but in practice countries are full of normies who just want to live normal lives without having to uproot their families from the lands of their forefathers (even the ones not asking for handouts and willing to work reasonable hours), and if you fuck them over they'll shoot you and your family up against the wall of your mansion and gleefully install lenin as ruler.
he suggests all these voting-like mechanisms to keep the state in check but it's all based on these objective "metrics" which do not necessarily reflect the well-being of individuals. |
