Date: June 5th, 2026 9:01 PM Author: The Penis Maybe their take is that cursor already exists and has the infrastructure set up, employees who know what they are doing etc. Seems easier than building from scratch when you already have the money to just buy the company already formed instead of attempting to bootstrap from scratch. Even with claude code and codex open source and with agentive coding so accurate and fast now.
