It's not like they're closing the gap with the working class. They're doubling down on clutching their pearls. It's amazing we have a guy like Bessent as Treasury Secretary, probably a unique one of a kind transformative figure for the first time since Teddy Roosevelt or something. It's just crazy how all the right people are in the right places and all the wrong people are madder than ever before and getting worse.
While I was listening to Bessent talk about how the working class doesn't view themselves as victims and aren't looking for handouts, it just reminded me of all the times I have heard a shitlib from New York or California brag about how blue state tax dollars are subsidizing Alabama and Mississippi.
The level of disconnect with these people is so profound they can't even figure out the basics. They are still at square one of what the hell happened and they're not getting better.
I was a little blue pilled normie once upon a time but instead of Trump breaking my brain I just let the change wash over me and transform me into the man that I am today. I can't imagine how retarded that alternate reality version of me would have been, or what I would have gotten my wife's boyfriend for his birthday.
I always think about how Trump is like Plato's Cave. Just come out of the cave dog and see the real world.
