$500 or $5,000k is retarded for a pokemon game with a Dying Battery that will soon be unable to Save: https://www.pricecharting.com/game/gameboy/pokemon-yellow.

Discs are worse if anything. It's easy af to "scratch" them, not to mention disc rot.

The Consoles themselves don't last forever. Scummy Consoles like 32X are already malfunctioning even without a disc drive to worry about. Eventually you have to replace all the Capacitors which requires Engineering. But anyway, if you have the Console you can just pirate everything on original hardware which makes collecting "games" extremely dumb imho. Discuss.

Edit: Also Losery playerbases for consoles like Gamecube should be nuked. you could get a full Genesis collection for the price of a few shitcube games.

Have you actually tried playing them? There's input lag and N64 games are weird. I tried playing one of the castlevania GBA games and it doesn't like pressing 3 keys at once afaik.

Saturn emulation is still a challenge bc the fanbase is EXCLUSIVELY liberal artists...... almost no Engineers, therefore no one to Engineer emulators.

Yes. Input lag is not perceptible (I use 2.4ghz controllers not Bluetooth)

N64 works great on my Machine.
