Just watched One Battle After Another - Thought it was a huge letdown

Date: November 18th, 2025 9:37 PM Author: Crawly Contagious Parlor There was so much hype around this movie, online "film heads" hyping it up as one of the best movies ever made, etc. It's just OK, it is visually bland, the score was annoying, the story was stupid, it's too long, weirdly unambitious, and I can't believe it cost $140 million, it probably went to licensing all the "needle drops" and the rest went up PTA and DiCaprio's noses. What a miss

someone mentioned the movie last night and i said i hadnt seen it but had beem meaning to. then we he started explaining the jist i rememebered i had seen some of it but walked out and had forgot. but I just keep nodding along anyway. |
