I honestly am constantly fucking stunned how we've been pulling up all these 1800s quotes and reports and political cartoons about Russia for the last few years and they could literally have been written yesterday. Nothing fundamental to their culture has changed in literally centuries, despite going through an entire massive revolution and different system of government and being unified with other more human countries in the interim for decades. The Rus appears almost genetically warped at this point, incapable of the slightest change. Like look at this shit! Change that to "Russian black sea fleet" and "Ukraine drone kayaks", a laughing zelensky and tsar monke and here we go again!
