This says the German news page where the story ran was first created in late July, and the Nigerian newspaper story that it was based on was a "sponsored" story. So basically anyone can make up a story, pay the paper and they will run it.
At first I believed it, but it sounds like someone with some serious resources may have fabricated it as a psyop. Russians likely. |

In addition to the facts noted above, it turns out the fake German website which spread the story is hosted on a platform that Russia has used to spread false info before.
So Annalena's honor is intact, and if she ever did stray from her marriage, it would hopefully be with a certain XO pumo, not some BBC from Africa. |
