The white guy has a gun in a holster but has not reached for it or made any indication he intends to use it. You stand a 50/50 shot with either of them.
Are you at greater risk of a serious injury or death against the black guy who might continue pummeling you if he wins or jump you later if he loses? Or the white guy that might shoot you in addition to those other things?
You only have to throw one punch, i.e. you don't have to continue fighting the white guy into submission if you're winning. |
