$250k HHI: minimum income level for “comfortable” I.e, what is generally considered a middle class life. Below this would involve strict budgeting/careful decision making and trade-offs.
$400k HHI: entry-level to “upper middle class” life, middle class life with room to build, financially comfortable with less worry.
$1mm HHI: entry-level “rich”. Renting (but not owning) a nice house in the Hamptons.
