He probably never outright claimed CLS. But he rolled with the misunderstanding as his schtick (which was 180) was being mean and better than everyone.

There was a similar misunderstanding that he was Ronan Farrow and he also failed to disabuse anyone bc it was probably fun.

He ran great threads about going to VIP clubs that the rest of us fags couldn’t get into, and he posted pics of receipts and bottles and private air cabins.

RSF never claimed Columbia. He was always vague about what he was up to, but it was clear he lived in NYC and attended LS and went to hard to get into clubs like Rose Bar and One Oak at a time when many posters were penniless scrubs. He would post about knowing the Rose Bar bouncer, Damien, and how other posters couldn't get in. I knew this guy was actually the bouncer at the time and that RSF was therefore somewhat legit. There was also a lot of hotel and travel posting. It was pretty 180 content, TBH.

The board was not as conservative/redpilled/anti-semitic back in that day, so there was no discussion of his religion, but in my mind, he presented himself as an old money Park Avenue WASP. No actual proof of that, just my recollection, like if someone asked you to describe someone from a book you read 15 years ago. I believe from people who I know who are connected to RSF on social media that he actually grew up in this environment--he is connected to tons of people from legit UES families--which probably includes almost as many jews as mayflower-descendant WASPS these days.

He certainly did not present himself as someone who went to HS where he did or to the kind of colleges he did, and didn't really talk sports, but whatever. I saw his posting as more of a composite/shtick persona and was not expecting 100% candor, and he clearly knew a lot about upper crust living in MFH and so had credibility in that regard.
