Bot Clicks by Ad Network

Industry research and click-fraud detection platforms show the following approximate rates of bot/invalid traffic on major networks:

Google Search: 10% - 15%

Google Display Network: 25% - 35%

Meta (Facebook/Instagram): 15% - 40%

LinkedIn: 15% - 25%

****Reddit & X (formerly Twitter): 50% or higher****

And what's the theory of the case? That they bill the publishers for invalid traffic? Idk if you saw, but we settled a small class action with Google over this a couple years ago, but all of these guys have mandatory arbitration clauses and class waivers as a condition of joining their ad network now. So they can do whatever da fukk they want.

So anyone get away with blatant fraud on a widespread scale, just add a mandatory arb provision? That your summation?

*with class action waiver

a couple of companies got massively pwned by leaving this part out a few years ago. they had to pay arb fees + class action costs. now they are all wise to it.

Still seems like an enterprising and driven litigator could boil a lot of this down to rinse + repeat automation and rape them senseless in a place like CA with a ton of potential plaintiffs

Cr... and what's so bad about arbitration? Just demand 100 arbs and do the exact same thing in each one

The parties pay the "judges" $600-$1,100/hour. If an arbitrator wants to stay in business, he's going to rule for Kirkland to secure future business and get a "good reputation."

It's all fucking crooked, and the GOP (and perhaps some other external force?) loves it.

Yes. They can literally say your monthly subscription fee is $9.99 then bill you $19.99, and you can't do fuck all about it unless you can find a lawyer who will put 100 hours into arbitration for a cut of the $60 they overbilled you.
