I know I went to BK a few times in the late 90s as a kid, but barely remember it and never tried the chicken. The new ones are much closer to the mcdonalds crispy battered tempura style nuggets than the old soft ones. But they still have a thinner coating that is tighter to the meat. I prefer this. The mcdonalds ones have too much of a shell of batter on them. They are less soft than the wendy's ones now too.
