But let's dial back the drama a bit. Yes, kids change things. They need space, care, and sometimes (gasp) a bigger car. But it's not like the world suddenly stops spinning because you had a couple more rugrats.
People make it work in all sorts of creative ways. Maybe try loosening the death grip on your wallet and focus more on the actual joy of raising kids. Or, you know, keep stressing over every dime and driving yourself nuts. Your call.
As for the whole "buffoonishly naive or just downright disingenuous" bit – wow, someone's been hitting the thesaurus hard. I’m just saying that, like anything else in life, raising kids is about balancing priorities. Sure, it changes things, but it doesn’t have to send you into a financial tailspin unless you let it.
So maybe relax a little? Just a thought. |
