It's basically at the level of a bright high school student. I'm beginning to suspect that the people who are amazed by "AI" are no smarter than bright HS students and/or that most "work" in America could be performed by a bright HS student.

ok I'm literally retarded, I actually thought you were serious until this thread. I will accept all mockery for falling for your idiot shtick for the past month. to be fair, I INITIALLY thought you were flaming, but you kept up with it and went so hard throughout dozens of threads that I believed it.

so what's your actual position, if you have one? that current chatbots can't replace lawyers but AI has enormous potential solving problems across various domains much faster than humans possibly could?

what about the career and economic impact stuff, since you were trolling about not thinking it'll significantly affect unemployment or the economy? do you just think that people are exaggerating the economic implications, given the insane investment in AI that's currently holding our economy together alongside gambling and OF?

So many questions, and I don't care that much. But picking one of these: I'm confident that the job losses and "effect on the economy" due to the bubble collapse will be 40-50x larger than those that result from the adoption of "AI" over a 15-20 year timeframe at least.

how are those separate? the AI investment bubble popping would obviously be an impact of AI

? Job and economic losses from bubble popping means AI can't justify the hype, job losses and economic gains from widespread adoption means AI is effective.

Have you used AI so much that your brainpower is diminishing?

what?

the "bubble" does not exist independent of the adoption of AI lmao they are obviously interconnected

maybe it wasn't idiot shtick after all...

Lmao, you think stocks are at ATHs because of how widely AI has been adopted, and how effective it is at doing human work?

JFC man, it wouldn't be possible to explain this to you in any terms that you would understand.

I take back my original reply; you are obviously a complete moron on this topic after all

it's sensitive to prompting. it can't read your mind. put it in voice mode and talk to it about what you want it to do and have it come up with the prompt

You guys don't understand how LLMs and "training" works. For this task, it was trained on a million PPTs out there on the internet. 50% of those were prepared by people of less than average skill in preparing a slide deck.

Maybe I could "prompt" it to only model this project after slide decks that are better than average?

while the "garbage in, garbage out" problem is a significant one, I doubt that's the most salient issue with this particular use case. however, I am not a lawyer and don't know anything about the thing you were trying to do with it, so I can't say for sure. it just intuitively sounds like something AI would be bad at for reasons other than "most slide decks are bad."

as I've noted in thread after thread after thread, you consistently try to use AI for the absolute dumbest things and then come on here and whine about how it can't do anything. it's actually astonishing. maybe it's because you're a Boomer

Or prepare the slide deck myself and have it done right the first time, in the same amount of time. But for free.

right now, I think that the median lawyer is like EPAH and pretty bad at leveraging these tools to help do their job. that's a combination of misunderstanding what the tools are good at and being bad at prompting. but as the tools improve and other litigators start to pick up on how to use them to get their work done way faster and at the same (or better) quality than before, EPAH is gonna need to embrace them or it's gonna be hard for him to keep his job.

Im not an AI fanboi but that's something opus should be able to do pretty easily and nicely, so I'm going to chalk this one up to USER ERROR
