1. It incentives short-form content which is almost instantaneously forgotten.
2. The short-form content is too truncated to properly express complicated thoughts, even if one wanted to pay for longer-form tweets (no thanks).
3. The site is still stock full of FBI and CIA agents that ban or shadow-ban dissident users randomly, destroying whatever fan base you’ve accrued.
4. Certain unknown topics and other things like posting links to certain sites result in massive post and profile de-boosting.
5. The site is full of bots.
6. The micro-dopamine hits eviscerate attention span.
7. Interactions are incentivized to be antagonistic and drama-fueled in order to draw eyeballs to it.
It’s really a gross site. |
