This was some probate litigation ten years ago when I was a noob lawyer. This litigation was going on for years. Jewish family. I know you bros won't believe me, but this one biglaw firm that shall not be named actually billed $50,000 for "due diligence" which meant they were making copies. They literally billed 50K for making copies.
I grossed over $100K in three months on this case. Blew it all quick as fuck, too. Some dude in a bar goes, "Hey, I heard you are a lawyer. I'm a security guard and I protect a lady who needs a new lawyer. It pays around $50K a month are you interested?" I didn't believe it, but sure enough it was real.
So she told me this story about Bob Hope. She used to be a golf pro in the 60s, she showed me a picture of her and she was hot as fuck back then. She was all fucked up when I represented her.
She golfed with Bob Hope and he invited her back to his place. She said he had armed guards at his gate. At some point he asks her if she'd like to see a painting of General Patton pissing in a river. She said, "Who wouldn't?" The painting was in his bedroom. |
