In rewatching it all recently it was fairly stark. Primarily because the lib worldview that created it is basically just Jeb Bush Republicanism. I think we'd all be fine going back to libs being like this.
There's a whole episode where some bitch from a "genderless" planet falls in love with Riker. Turns out the planet she's from literally forces genderless ideology on its people and lobotomizes anyone who goes against it. LMAO.
Meanwhile all the regular TNG characters speak about gender and sex as being totally connected, the natural sex differences that exist, why women like men and vice versa, etc.

the more you watch the show the more ridiculous of a character troi is
she's barely a character and almost always serves as a prop or plot device or is just there to have her tits on the screen

the frequency of running "diagnostics" is pretty absurd too
it's just constant. like there's gotta be an average of 6-7 "diagnostics" run every episode lol

@grok, when did tng use a diagnostic other than level one
TNG mentioned a Level 1 diagnostic far more often than any other number. Lower numbers are more thorough (and slower/more disruptive); higher numbers are quicker and more automated. The TNG Technical Manual defines five levels, and the show used 2–5 on occasion.
Level 2
• “Tin Man”
• “Remember Me” — Geordi has the computer run a Level 2 on the warp drive systems (“Antimatter containment positive. Warp drive within normal parameters.”)
• “A Fistful of Datas” — Level 2 on the computer / information-retrieval systems
• “Aquiel” — Level 2 on the comm buffers at Relay Station 47
Level 3
This is the next-most-common after Level 1.
• “The Nth Degree” — Geordi uses a Level 3 diagnostic as a pretext while talking to the newly super-intelligent Barclay; later asks for Barclay’s help with one
• “Schisms”
• “Cause and Effect” — they decide to run a Level 3 on all systems after seeing the repeating “3” on the monitors
• “Aquiel”
• “The Chase”
• “Phantasms”
• Star Trek Generations — Lt. Farrell asks to run a Level 3 on the port plasma relays
Level 4
• “Relics” — Scotty reconfigured the Jenolan transporter into a Level 4 diagnostic cycle so his pattern could sit in the buffer for 75 years
• “Cost of Living” — a Level 4 missed faults in the replicators’ orientation terminals
• “Genesis” — Barclay wants a Level 4 on the torpedo guidance / phase discriminator (it would require shutting down auxiliary power to 19 decks)
Level 5
• “Half a Life”
• “The Mind’s Eye” — “Perform a level-5 diagnostic”
Other non-numbered diagnostics
• “Power Play” — O’Brien puts the transporters into diagnostic mode that will take hours
• “Cause and Effect” — Crusher runs an optical diagnostic on Geordi’s VISOR
• Data occasionally runs a self-diagnostic (e.g., “Schisms”, “A Fistful of Datas”)
Level 1 still dominates because it is the “take it offline and physically check it” option writers reached for when something important (especially transporters or the computer) was acting up. The other levels appear when they needed a faster check or a specific plot beat.
