Date: June 22nd, 2024 4:19 AM Author: cerise main people After you get a bit of seniority it can be an awesome job as you have more of a say of the routes you fly. It's a bit like being in a frat / sorority.
The pay is shit. Instead of a pension most major airlines have like a 15-17% 401k contribution so it's not bad. You do the job for the free flights for you and your family / extended family + friends, as well as discounted hotel / travel etc. It works well if both ppl in a couple are working. Then, the benefits far outweigh the shit pay.
When you do hit a level of seniority, you can pick long-haul international flights and can square it so you only work 7-10 days a month with full weeks off in between.
A lot of junior flight attendants get a group and split a house together to save cash for a few years. In general, flight attendants like to party. |
