They have communities that charge an arm and a leg and promise life long care in place (basically we have a nursing home on site) and charge millions of dollars for this. This is insane and shouldn’t be such a large part of the economy. Discuss.

but communities of older people with clubs and other activitie for them are 180. they exclude younger people and just charge a reasonable monthly fee. not nursing/end-of-life fees.

Those kinds of places are tricky. I hear that a lot of housing in these active seniors communities is turning into multigenerational housing as the younger generation refuses to get married or live on their own.
