Date: November 24th, 2025 1:24 PM Author: SneakersSO PS5 is being discounted in both EU and Japan. EU sales are good because of "FIFA" somehow even though that game comes out every single year. Sony does well at globalization and it lets them run up the score. Like MSFT wouldn't know where the hell to start selling consoles in Indonesia but Sony has been selling hardware there since 1977.
PS5 sales are pretty damn close to Switch 2 sales. No one can explain it. Sony just excels at Engineering and marketing and all the rest. All independent of game dev.
Meanwhile no one is buying Xbox. PS5 sales are good in US. I honestly think that extremely stupid idiots are getting PS5s *specifically* because they don't want to lose the gen and can’t just wait for PS6 or get a PC. They want their "library" for next gen to have a PS5 backlog. how else can you explain it? |
